Announcing stripShow 0.5beta!
Since moving Monkey Law over to the WordPress blogging system, I've been working on a set of extensions to make this an easier process. I'm pleased to announce the first beta of my package, stripShow 0.5,  is available!

stripShow has the following features:

• Supports GIF, JPG, PNG, and even HTML files as comics.
• Comic files can be named in a date format of your choosing.
• Supports either stripShow-style categories (one category for comics, all others are blog posts) or ComicPress-style categories (one category for blog posts, all others are comics).
• Template tags for showing first and last comic in an archive.
• Bulk-import of existing comics files into your WordPress blog.

Installation is easy, and instructions are included. I'm looking for feedback on this package, either in this thread or via email at http://stripshow.monkeylaw.org/stripshow-0.5beta.zip.

Heh. Your conversion to WordPress was one of the things that inspired me, actually. I had toyed with it about a year ago, but abandoned it. My first version of stripShow was a standalone product, then came a version that crammed my standalone script, bloated as it was, into the WP plugin, and the auto-importer used that. Wouldn't have worked for anyone but me. Now I've universalized it.

It was bound to happen. The stripShow forum is the only one on the site where guests can post. I'll just keep on top of it.

Well, this seems to be the only thread they post in at the moment, and it's announcing an outdated release of the software, so I'm gonna lock it.
