I'm using Autocomic Stripshow (love it, by the way), but I wanted to know if I could duplicate the comic navigation buttons (first, previous, next, etc.) above the comic. Thanks for any help offered!

Great idea, Irving! I've implemented this now.

There is now a dropdown on the AutoComic settings page for Navigation. You can choose to put the navigation buttons above the comic, below the comic, or both.

This is new in 2.5.2. It should be available as soon as the plugins page refreshes.

It's also given me an idea — in future releases, why not just make AutoComic a widgetable area and be done with it? That way, people can arrange elements like the comic and the navigation bar in any way they see fit!

I love that idea. As a thought, it might also be cool to create automatic comic thumbnails to use as or near the navigation. For instance, the first comic button might have a tiny thumbnail or cropped version of the first comic on it or below it, etc.

I very much like the nav widget idea. I've been using Comicpress for a while and one of the things I really do like are the radio style buttons I was able to set up. In this case I dragged the nav widget to one side bar then the other and just selected first & previous for the left side and next and last on the right. If there was a simple way to load your own button images to the widget, that would be awesome.

I'm thinking of switching away from Comicpress to something 'lighter', so my motives are purely selfish. ;)

While I don't maintain stripShow for a living, I wouldn't say no to a little donation, if you think the plugin is worth it...
