Here's an odd one for you. I recently migrated my website to another host (faster service, etc.), and in doing so, managed to break something somewhere related to stripshow. I use Autocomic and do the standard backend upload into the wp-content/stripshow_comics directory. All of that is fine, and for all intents and purposes, everything should be great. However, for some reason, the comic will not display. It's set for a single page, and the navigation appears – checking the back through cPanel, the comic even appears in the correct directory – but it doesn't display. Permissions are fine, and no errors report from the Post screen.

Here's a link to a sample

Also, possibly unrelated, my "Latest" link now redirects to the front page rather than the latest comic.

Ideas?

Not sure what the exact problem may be, but have you double checked your stripshow settings? And your autocomic settings? Perhaps something didn't update during the server move. Since it looks like autocomic itself is working (I see comic navigation for above and below) maybe your settings for the comic directory are incorrect, or need to be a direct path given a different server setup? I don't know for sure.

If you'd like I could try taking a look if you gave me a temp. admin account (you could just send me a PM with the info, so it doesn't have to be public.)

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Interesting. The comic div that AutoComic is generating is empty.

Do you think you can make me a login on your site, and send it to me via PM? I could take a look from the inside.

Sent. It also bears mentioning that I had a similar problem once before, the cause of which was a too-wide image exceeding the Autocomic css widths. But I fixed it then and have not changed it since. All of the site's comics (most of which are still in transition) are no more than 750px wide, as is the amount specified in the css file. No padding is added.

While I don't maintain stripShow for a living, I wouldn't say no to a little donation, if you think the plugin is worth it...
