While I don't maintain stripShow for a living, I wouldn't say no to a little donation, if you think the plugin is worth it...

Is there a trick to adding storylines? I have been filling out the information in the "add storylines" fields and no new storylines are being created? Do I have to format the date a special way?

There shouldn't be a trick to it — just fill out the date and hit "Add."
What is the date you're entering? I can see whether there are any formats that don't work.

I used today's date, I tried 5/25/09 and 5/25/2009.

What version of stripShow are you using? I've tried it with 2.0beta1, and I'm seeing the same problem, so it looks like something I'll have to fix.

Oh, good! That means I'm not a moron! I'm on the 2.0 beta 1 as well. Thank you.

OK, I figured it out — it isn't that the stories aren't being entered, they're just not being shown in the list. I'll go ahead and put a new beta up today.
If you want to go ahead and just fix this particular issue, here's all you need to do. In the file stripshow-admin.php, find all the instances of:
initialize_storylines()and replace with:
initialize_storylines(TRUE)This tells the system to include even storylines in the future in its listing.

Sweet, thanks so much!
I have been working on skinning the sandbox theme up a bit, I will leave you a link when I'm good to go!
